Willowbrae Academy - Etobicoke is looking for a Cook to join our Academy in Etobicoke.

Qualifications:

A clear criminal reference check CPR and First Aid Certification 2+ professional references A positive, fun-loving attitude Ability to work in a team and self-motivated Current certification in an approved and recognized Food Handler's Certification course Demonstrated proficiency in the planning and preparation of nutritious meals and snacks
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following;

Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to the approved Menu. Purchasing of groceries from planned menus and cleaning supplies within the allocated budget. Washing of all children's dishes and utensils, etc. and maintaining kitchen and eating areas in a sanitary and orderly condition. Communicate with staff concerning the nutritional needs of the children, special feeding requirements, allergies etc. Keeping an inventory of all food and kitchen supplies. Answering staff telephone and main telephone lines, and recording messages. Any other housekeeping duties as deemed necessary from time to time.
