Child Care Aide

Job Description
We are seeking an individual to work as an aide with a preschool aged child in our Carrington daycare centre. The select individual will work alongside our room staff to provide quality care to all the children in the room. The extra set of hands in the room will help ensure the child\xe2\x80\x99s needs are being met throughout the day. The successful candidate must have:
- an Early Childhood Education Level 1, 2, or 3
- up-to-date police clearance and first aid
- previous experience working with children with special needs
- experience with planning, developing and implementing age appropriate, child-led activities in a child-centred environment
- experience with Flight and Emergent Curriculum is an asset
- a nurturing personality and genuine love of children
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- On call
- Early Childhood Education Certificate (required)
