Diverse Community Support Services (DCSS) is a third-party agency that provides individuals (children, youth and adults) with complex needs, their families and social service organizations respite and specialized services that are tailored to each individual's needs.
DCSS is currently hiring the following positions;
Child and Youth Workers Social Service Workers Developmental Service Worker
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma in Child and Youth Work A current Police Reference Check or Vulnerable Sector Check Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 (at least 2 doses) A valid Standard First Aid Certificate, with level C CPR A valid certificate in non violent crisis intervention (CPI, UMAB, etc.) Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Developmental challenges
Job Responsibilities:
The qualified applicant will be responsible for providing support to complex needs individuals diagnosed with ASD, FASD, and/or Dual Diagnosis.
Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Schedule:
10 hour shift 12 hour shift 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Every Weekend Holidays Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift On call Weekends as needed

Pay: Up to $25.17 per hour
