Child and Youth Workers support students in skill development, self management and problem solving to improve academic achievement. Programs are developed to meet the individual needs of each student.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Child & Youth Worker Diploma Minimum of one year experience Experience working with children and youth requiring additional educational supports from diverse ethno-cultural and racial backgrounds Child & Youth Care Degree and Membership in the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counselors are assets
