Evolving Youth Care Inc. has been providing a full spectrum of services to children and youth since 1998. Our homes are located throughout Ottawa and the surrounding areas, serving children and youth ages 12-17.
We are looking for team members who are committed to positively impacting the youth we support. We are currently looking child and youth worker's that has experience working in group care settings. The applicant must present strong leadership skills and have experience leading a staff team. You will work
on a rotation working evenings and every second weekend.
Key Components of this position include:
Assist with implementing and following policies and procedures
Obtain information and prepare necessary documents and reports
Assist with completing all necessary documents and reports as per ministry legislation
Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs
Provide suicide and crisis intervention
Resolve conflict situations
Caring for clients in the home
Implement behaviour management programs
Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
Train and support new hires
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
