VMA Psych is a leading mental health clinic dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families across the GTA. Our team provides evidence-based, compassionate care to foster emotional well-being, build resilience, and strengthen family dynamics.

We are seeking a dedicated

Child and Youth Care Worker (CYC)

to join our growing team--supporting clients both in-clinic and through at-home visits.

What You'll Do

Work directly with children, youth, and families to implement emotional regulation and behavioural strategies tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with parents/guardians to reinforce practical tools for managing emotions and behaviours at home. Conduct in-clinic and at-home visits to assess family dynamics, deliver interventions, and provide hands-on coaching. Support clients in developing coping skills, social-emotional awareness, and healthier communication. Maintain clear, professional documentation in compliance with clinic standards. Collaborate with clinicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

What You Bring

Diploma or degree in

Child and Youth Care

,

Social Work

,

Psychology

, or a related field.

2+ years

of experience supporting youth and families in clinical or community settings. Strong understanding of emotional regulation and behavioural intervention strategies. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license

and

reliable vehicle

(required for home visits). Availability for some evenings and weekends. Current

First Aid/CPR

(preferred). Clear

Vulnerable Sector Check

(required upon hire).
