In this position you will work as a behaviour therapist providing one-on-one and small-group therapy to children and youth with autism and developmental delays using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The treatment plan is designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients develop communication, social, academic, and life skills, within your job you will follow the detailed outline plan during session.
Responsibilities:
Provide behavioral therapy services to children with autism.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress.
Strong ability to effectively manage behaviours
Provide behaviour support to children with autism and behaviour challenges.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or youth
- Knowledge of child development principles and educational strategies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Diploma in Child and youth worker or related field.
Experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
Understanding of behavioral principles and intervention techniques.
Familiarity with medical terminology and case management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
