Job Summary
The Child and Youth Caregiver Recruitment Specialist reports to the Resource Team Leader to promote opportunities for caregiving and care homes within Secwepemcul'ecw. This position will attend and organize community events to build strong partnerships and share information with prospective caregivers about the caregiving role, including expectations, eligibility requirements, and available supports. The Child and Youth Caregiver Recruitment Specialist will organize and represent the organization at community events, fairs, workshops, etc. This position will use a respectful and culturally appropriate approach when recruiting caregivers to work with Secwepemc Child and Family Services Agency.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Services or a related field is strongly preferred.
One year of experience in Human Resources, Events, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Services, or a related field.
A combination of education, experience, and lived experience will be considered.

Working Conditions:
Occasional travel required
Hours of work are nonstandard and connected to services and community needs from 20-35 hours per week
Receives regular supervision with direction and check of the work performed
Conditions of Employment:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Criminal Record Check
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid BC Driver's Licence, class 5 with no restrictions
Must have access to a vehicle in good operating condition and appropriate vehicle insurance to meet program requirements

starting wage $35.1121 per hour
