for the position of:

Child and Youth Care Worker(s)

Full-time and Part-time Positions Available

We are looking for innovative and creative Child and Youth Care Workers to provide care, supervision, and support to young people with complex needs. The work is varied and will include relationship building, planning, and participating in social and recreational activities including land-based activities, teaching life skills, providing educational supports and developing and implementing individualized intervention plans.

The successful applicant(s) must be confident, energetic, adaptable, patient, self-aware, physically active, and able to safely intervene in crisis situations.

Shift work, including weekends, is required.

Education & Experience:

To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have a diploma in Child and Youth Care, or a degree in psychology (or related discipline) from a recognized university, as well as experience working with young people with emotional/behavioral difficulties, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

required diplomas/degrees clear Police Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector) clear Child Abuse Registry Check valid Driver's License clear Driver's Abstract A personal vehicle you can use for work Vehicle insurance, including $2,000,000 third-party liability coverage Standard First Aid/CPR certification Food Safety of Food Handler's certificate valid proof of ability to work in Canada
