services to assist Child Welfare Workers through the provision of child welfare
services. This includes, but is not limited to, supervised access, one-to-one
support to children and their family as well as parent education. This position
is part of the Family Preservation Team.
COMMENCING:
ASAP - July 1, 2024
SALARY:
$51086 - $63,681
QUALIFICATIONS:
Social Service Worker Diploma or Child & Youth Worker (two-year diploma)
or equivalent combination of formal education and 2 years of experience in
Child Welfare.

This position requires the skill and ability to engage clients to achieve goals
as created by the Child Welfare Worker to ensure child safety and reduce
risk. The incumbent is required to have a good understanding of Agency
policies and procedures and a capacity to ensure all documentation meets
Agency and Ministry standards. The incumbent is to maintain adherence to
Ministry standards. Good written and oral communication skills,
keyboarding and computer skills are needed as well as the ability to
prioritize and meet deadlines.

Must be able to provide proof of valid COVID-19 vaccination
