Long-haul Fuel Transport Drivers are responsible for operating Super-B, B-Train, and Tri/Quad configuration transport trucks and trailers within the Yukon, N.W.T, B.C., Alberta, and Alaska for purposes of obtaining fuel from fuel suppliers and delivering into Company storage or direct-to-customer. The Driver shall at all times operate in accordance with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures in order to maximize the safety and environmental responsibility of the operation. Would you describe yourself as having: \xc2\xb7 A great work ethic and willingness to drive to all supplier and customer locations \xc2\xb7 A willingness to work away from home including occasional overnights in truck sleepers \xc2\xb7 A calm demeanor with a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving \xc2\xb7 A passion for providing superior customer service \xc2\xb7 The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Key responsibilities include: \xc2\xb7 Delivering product in a safe and efficient manner \xc2\xb7 Transporting hazardous product or dangerous goods in compliance with internal and external laws, regulations, procedures, and policies \xc2\xb7 Communicating with Dispatch and relaying pertinent information \xc2\xb7 Maintaining the cleanliness, care and mechanical condition of all assets and vehicles Qualifications/Conditions of Employment: \xc2\xb7 Class 1 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License (with a clean record and under 6 points on abstract) \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years professional experience as a long-haul bulk fuel driver \xc2\xb7 Experience with maintaining a driver log book, bills of lading, reports etc. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of transportation and logistics with an emphasis on the North and on off-highway is an asset \xc2\xb7 Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada How to Apply: Quoting competition #4N23-013, please submit your resume and cover letter to the Human Resources Department.
