VeriFast is hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead our engineering organization and own the long-term technical direction of the company.


This is a senior executive role responsible for shaping VeriFast into an AI-first, data-driven platform company. The CTO will define the company's technology strategy, own platform architecture, and lead engineering execution across product, data, and infrastructure.


We are looking for a deeply technical, hands-on leader who is passionate about building intelligent systems, obsessed with emerging technology, and energized by solving complex problems with data, automation, and machine learning.


This is a role for someone who lives at the intersection of AI, platform engineering, and scalable SaaS.

Technology Strategy & AI Architecture

Define and execute VeriFast's long-term technology strategy with an AI-first platform mindset Own architectural decisions across application, data, and infrastructure layers Lead the evolution of an intelligent, data-driven platform powered by machine learning and automation Design systems that support real-time decisioning, large-scale data processing, and model-driven workflows Establish modern engineering standards and best practices for building AI-powered production systems Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, AI platforms, and next-generation engineering practices

Platform & Engineering Execution

Own platform stability, uptime, performance, and resilience Lead engineering delivery across backend, frontend, data, infrastructure, and QA Build highly scalable, secure, and reliable systems that support AI-powered decisioning at scale Ensure security, privacy, and compliance are built into all platform systems Implement strong DevOps, CI/CD, and platform reliability practices Drive operational excellence across engineering delivery and platform operation

Executive Leadership & Business Partnership

Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team and strategic partner to the CEO Translate business objectives into technical strategy and platform execution Represent VeriFast's technology vision with customers, partners, and investors Own technical due diligence and platform roadmap for strategic growth initiatives Build technology as a core competitive advantage and growth driver

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Platform, etc.) Proven experience building and scaling modern SaaS platforms Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and data platforms Strong background in machine learning, data infrastructure, or AI-driven products Track record of building production-grade AI systems * Experience operating in high-growth, venture-backed environments
