We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization's financial planning, management, and growth initiatives. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, develop long-term financial strategies, and ensure the company's fiscal health aligns with its overall business objectives. This executive role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in finance, accounting, and risk management to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support the company's short-term and long-term goals.
Oversee all accounting functions, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, credit, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and ensure financial stability.
Experience with both retail and wholesale operations.
Negotiate services contracts, financing arrangements, and other key agreements to optimize financial outcomes.
Oversee corporate finance activities such as capital structure management, investment analysis, and funding strategies.
Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational plans.
Ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies related to financial practices.
Support M&A activity as required.
Skills
Strong background in accounting principles and practices, including account reconciliation.
Exceptional Excel financial modelling capabilities.
Extensive experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and risk management.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and strategic thinking.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Familiarity with various technology and ERP systems including Microsoft platforms.
