The Opportunity:



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to join our team. In the CCO role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our operations and activities adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with leadership to maintain our commitment to the highest ethical and compliance standards, providing guidance, oversight, and strategic direction in the realm of compliance. Your Skills and Experience:



Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in compliance within the asset management sector A comprehensive understanding of Canadian financial regulations, including but not limited to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Product (KYP), and other relevant financial compliance regulations. Knowledge of back-office systems and custodian relationship management. Working knowledge of the National Registration Database (NRD) Completion of required CCO qualifying exams and registrations Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to establish and update policies and procedures for the firm's compliance system, and manage the firm's compliance monitoring and reporting according to the policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance strategies, programs, policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals and regulatory requirements. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex compliance matters to diverse stakeholders. A strong commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and a keen sense of responsibility in upholding regulatory compliance and industry best practices. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels. A commitment to staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
