I am looking for a Chief accountant and payroll for my client, a company in the transport sector. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode in Longueuil.

xe2x96xaaEnsure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
xe2x96xaaEnsure payroll processing and compliance.
xe2x96xaaAct as an expert in payroll and the Dayforce payroll management system.
xe2x96xaaConfigure and optimize the Dayforce payroll system according to the evolving needs of the company.
xe2x96xaaParticipate in the monthly and annual closing of the accounting books by carrying out reconciliations, analyzes and adjustments as necessary.
xe2x96xaaPrepare accounting entries at the end of the month.
xe2x96xaaParticipate in annual audit processes.
xe2x96xaaResponsible for collecting a portion of customer accounts
xe2x96xaaMonitoring credit privileges based on customer history.
xe2x96xaaValidate weekly customer billing.
xe2x96xaaValidate discounts to be made to valets.
xe2x96xaaCollaborate, if necessary, in payroll processing and perform validation.
xe2x96xaaCollaborate, if necessary, in the accounts payable process.
xe2x96xaaHave a college or university degree in accounting or finance.
xe2x96xaaHave 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
xe2x96xaaFrench/English bilingualism, both oral and written.
xe2x96xaaExperience in management, an important asset.
xe2x96xaaHold ACP certification, an asset.
xe2x96xaaHold an accounting title, an asset.
