Key Responsibilities
Deliver customized chemistry lessons based on the student's grade level, curriculum, and learning goals.
Teach fundamental and advanced topics such as atomic structure, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and laboratory skills.
Assist students with homework, exam preparation, lab reports, and classroom assignments.
Break down complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations.
Create practice exercises, quizzes, and learning materials to reinforce understanding.
Identify learning gaps and provide targeted instruction to address them.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians when needed.
Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Education, or a related field (preferred).
Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts across high school and/or college levels.
Ability to explain challenging ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
