Job Description

Applied Lubrication Technology is seeking a driven individual to take on the role of Chemical Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or a minimum of two years experience in blending lubricants and fluids in actual production and laboratory situations.

Responsibilities

Support research, formulation, blending, testing, and consulting activities on the creation of new lubricants designed for industry

Document research, formulating, testing, and consulting time for R&D documentation

Coordinate the manufacturing of all industrial lubricants

Implement new and maintain existing SOPs for lubricant production and warehouse efficiency

Ensure all products conform and meet quality standards

Run quality-control tests on batches of finished products

Build relationships with current and new suppliers to manage raw materials

Maintain raw material and finished goods inventories

Provide technical support when required as it pertains to manufactured lubricants

Additional Duties

Assist in the day to day operation of the warehouse

Oversee and assist when necessary in staging, loading, and unloading products and materials

Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Clean and maintain work area

Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time
