MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieve company productivity goals;
Direct and coordinate the work of caffeine and decaf production operators and assistant operator;
Ensure the proper operation of production equipment;
Execute the request for materials and supplies;
Solve problems and answer questions from production team;
Recommend corrective actions using a continuous improvement approach to productivity and product quality;
Ensure the recording of data and control the documents and registers of the coffee batches at the end of the operations;
Prepare production and other reports for the production operation;
Train new staff: processes, safety procedures, company policies and ensure documentation relating to staff training;
Replace an absent operator if no other is available;
All other tasks relating to the production department.
SKILLS
Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or food & beverage processing sector;
Have good expertise in equipment such as reactors, filter presses, centrifuges, dryers and tools;
Experience working in an SQF, HACCP and CGMP environment.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering
Fluency in Spanish (asset)
Good team spirit
Experience managing a team of 2
