Chemical Laboratory Technologist

Job Description
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week/Monday to Sunday/9:30am to 6:30 pm (Schedule as required).
Salary will be decided as per knowledge and experience in the required field.
Responsibilities:
Perform testing on food samples and Biologics following approved and/or available methods. Hands on experience on and capable of independently handling of HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS. Nutrition labeling related testing knowledge. Be accountable for your contribution to achieving turnaround time goals and quality lab testing. Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of analytical instruments. Generation, interpretation, and management of analytical data. Be able to transfer results accurately, perform data entry and Identify lab supplies and process order for restocking. Be committed to producing quality results by ensuring samples pass QC standards and running QC/ blank samples. Ability to multi-task and attention to details. Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Assisting in quality control duties and research & development projects when required. Developing and validating analytical methods.
Required Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a B.Sc. in Chemistry or technology diploma in a related field (Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology).
Preferred:
Working knowledge of GMP, GLP, or ISO17025.
