Note:

Initial training may take place at our Pickering facility, and candidates must be able to commute there until operations fully transition to the Mississauga location.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Batch Maker / Production Operator

to join our manufacturing team, producing eco-friendly

water-based industrial cleaning chemicals

used in sanitation and food processing cleaning environments. This role involves hands-on chemical blending, operating production equipment, and supporting daily plant operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused, and team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, weigh, and blend raw materials according to batch sheets and formulas Operate mixing tanks, pumps, and other blending equipment Load and unload materials and finished products; operate forklifts. Perform basic quality checks on raw and blended materials Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment and work area Accurately complete production documentation and logs Cross-train across production functions to support a flexible, multi-skilled team Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and SOPs

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in batch making, chemical blending, or compounding (preferably water-based chemicals) Forklift certification asset (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work in a physically active environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely Basic math and measurement skills High school diploma or equivalent

Assets:

Experience in sanitation chemical manufacturing Familiarity with blend times, mixing procedures, and QC checks Understanding of WHMIS, HACCP GMP chemical safety, and production compliance asset.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
