We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high-quality presentation and taste
Help oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
Manage team members during service hours, providing guidance and leadership to maintain efficiency
Coordinate with the restaurant management team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized
Serve as a role model for team members by demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and excellent service skills
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Excellent team management and leadership abilities
Knowledge of restaurant management operations and hospitality standards
Skilled in food handling, serving, and maintaining high hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service
