We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
Assist in cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
Previous experience as a chef/cook is required.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
