Duties



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of performance Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality, consistency, and presentation Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating innovative dishes while adhering to dietary guidelines and customer preferences Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize operational efficiency Lead training sessions on food handling, safety protocols, and service standards for team members Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving experiences for guests Monitor restaurant operations daily, addressing any issues promptly to uphold service excellence

Skills



Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Excellent team management and leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience in restaurant management including inventory control and cost management Exceptional communication skills for effective coordination with staff and guests Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with hospitality industry best practices and customer service excellence Demonstrated ability to serve as a role model in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.86-$32.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
