East Coast Catering operated each phase of the camp from initial exploration to construction to the permanent concentrator complex.
ECC is the preferred provider of catering and janitorial services in Atlantic Canada's mining, oil, and gas sector. Currently, we serve the majority of offshore production / drilling installations and mine sites in Canada's East Coast region.

East Coast Catering is currently inviting applications for Camp Boss, Chef, Baker, Stewards to join our growing team in preparation for upcoming offshore contracts.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Cook is responsible for the overall operations of the kitchen and foodservice departments including planning, coordinating, and preparation for daily food service production, catering services, and supervision of all Food service department staff. The cook recognizes that Health and Safety are always our primary concern and ensure that safe work practices are foremost in all projects and activities.

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training
First Aid
Food Safety Certificate
5 years relevant industry experience a must
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Red Seal Cook Certification considered an asset
Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced Environment, paying attention to accuracy and details.
Able to safely maintain a positive, respectful, and productive workplace.
Basic knowledge of baking considered an asset
