Job Summary


We are Seeking a self managed chef/cook that would like to work in a winery setting preparing foods and creating a menu that emphasize and showcase our wines and location, Kitchen in place is minimal for equipment however opportunitty to create and curate your skills. All resumes will be considered with some experience.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, showcasing creativity and attention to detail Manage inventory, ordering supplies locally, and maintaining kitchen equipment Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special offerings Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen Monitor food presentation and portion control to meet restaurant standards Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration

Experience



Proven experience in within the food industry Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations Familiarity with restaurant management practices and kitchen operations Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations Able to work with minimal supervision Ability to organize and cook for larger wine pairing dinner events Experience in hospitality settings is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$34.04 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
