Chef-minded Seafood Counter Specialist

who can bring creativity, precision, and energy to our showcase counter.

This part-time role (3-4 days per week, including weekends) is ideal for someone who loves working hands-on with seafood, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys a fast-paced food-retail environment.

What You'll Do

Prepare and present premium seafood items such as poke bowls, marinated fish, smoked seafood, and daily chef specials Maintain top-quality counter displays -- neat, colorful, and consistent with McEwan's gourmet standards Support day-to-day counter operations: restocking, labeling, pricing, and customer service Uphold strict food-safety, freshness, and cleanliness standards ("clean as you go") Work collaboratively with the Daily Seafood production and smoking teams to execute seasonal creations

What We're Looking For

2-3 years' experience in a

kitchen, deli, or seafood counter

setting Comfortable handling and portioning fresh fish and shellfish Creative approach to seafood recipes, marinades, and plating Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented -- takes pride in presentation Strong communication and customer-service skills

Weekend availability required

Compensation & Perks

CA$20-25/hr
