We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and service, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and marinating as needed.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
