We know that the work of an executive chef is not limited to food. It requires skill, dedication, patience, and finding the right opportunities. We are looking for an executive chef who can help us deliver the best customer service and culinary experiences. Reporting to the general manager, you will take a hands-on approach, focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocols, and customer relations. Our Executive Chef will also play a key role in helping us meet budget requirements and execute programs provided by the company.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise, organize, cook, and manage the entire meal production process. Supervise and coordinate the kitchen and service team, promoting teamwork and a positive collaborative atmosphere. Demonstrate creativity, refinement, and innovation in culinary operations and catering services. Be able to respond to operational needs. Ensure high-quality food services and customer satisfaction. Optimize food and labor costs Implement various marketing plans Manage kitchen employees Develop and enforce various job descriptions Prepare staff schedules and plan training (if applicable) Place orders Ensure the implementation of programs related to management, health, hygiene, and food safety Conduct monthly inventory Manage customer relations

Qualifications

------------------

Have 4 to 5 years of experience in food service or catering. Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our clients are English-speaking. Be familiar with MS Office. Have strong leadership skills. Be thorough and methodical in your daily work. MAPAQ hygiene and safety certificate Diploma in restaurant management/dietetics/vocational diploma in institutional cooking (an asset)
