The Village at/of Erin Meadows located in 2930 Erin Centre Blvd., , Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Part Time Chef to join their team.
Chef LTC 10-6 shift, TPT 30 hours bi-weekly

To be successful as our Chef, you will:

• Be a graduate of Chef Training or have a Diploma in Culinary Management from an accredited college or equivalent
• Valid Food Safety Certification
• Current Smart Serve Certification
• Have flexibility to work a variety of different shifts including days, evenings, weekends (including holidays)
• Have a passion for menu and recipe development
• Knowledge of cost control
• Experience in coaching and developing teams
• Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Chef role

It would be an asset if our new Chef has:

• Acquired a Red Seal designation
• Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
• Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to senior living
