We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to food safety and quality. Must have safe food handling license. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals that meet our high standards, while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, meal preparation, and kitchen equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
