Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety and hygiene.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
Monitor food quality and portion sizes to maintain consistency in dishes served.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
