Duties

Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance and teamwork. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with other departments to create special events and catering options. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration among team members.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and hospitality. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and vendors effectively. Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is highly desirable.
