We are seeking a talented and experienced Chinese cuisine Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee all aspects of food handling, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies
Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating current food trends and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Train new staff members on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures
Monitor kitchen workflows to optimize productivity and minimize waste
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times
Serve as a leader in the kitchen, fostering teamwork and high morale among staff
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
In-depth knowledge of restaurant management principles and hospitality standards
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Exceptional skills in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
Experience in menu development, restaurant operations, and kitchen experience is preferred
