En tant que membre-cl\xc3\xa9 du secteur Infrastructure au Canada, l\xe2\x80\x99ing\xc3\xa9nieur associ\xc3\xa9 en tunnels dirigera une \xc3\xa9quipe d\xe2\x80\x99experts motiv\xc3\xa9s dans la livraison d\xe2\x80\x99une vaste gamme de services, notamment la conception de tunnels conventionnels et par tunnelier, de cavernes et de solutions souterraines, de puits d\xe2\x80\x99acc\xc3\xa8s et d\xe2\x80\x99excavations en profondeur dans des conditions tr\xc3\xa8s variables, allant des sols tr\xc3\xa8s mous au roc dur. Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s

• Assurer la gestion des projets, l\xe2\x80\x99engagement des clients et la direction technique dans le cadre d\xe2\x80\x99une diversit\xc3\xa9 de mandats;
• Planifier, organiser et diriger des \xc3\xa9quipes de projet afin d\xe2\x80\x99assurer la livraison, la conception et la documentation des exigences de projets de tunnels visant les transports collectifs, les autoroutes et les services publics (eau, eaux us\xc3\xa9es);
• Contribuer \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9laboration et \xc3\xa0 la pr\xc3\xa9sentation de soumissions visant l\xe2\x80\x99ex\xc3\xa9cution de projets souterrains, notamment des tunnels de gros diam\xc3\xa8tre, des micro-tunnels, des applications sans tranch\xc3\xa9e et la r\xc3\xa9fection de tunnels;
• Diriger des \xc3\xa9quipes de projet dans la r\xc3\xa9alisation des aspects suivants : \xc3\xa9tudes et essais g\xc3\xa9otechniques, \xc3\xa9valuation des donn\xc3\xa9es g\xc3\xa9otechniques, rapports g\xc3\xa9otechniques de r\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence et d\xe2\x80\x99interpr\xc3\xa9tation (GBR et GIR), analyses g\xc3\xa9o-structurales, conception, \xc3\xa9valuation et pr\xc3\xa9paration des calculs, des dessins et des documents de soumission, \xc3\xa9tudes de faisabilit\xc3\xa9, estimation des co\xc3\xbbts et des \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9anciers;
• Pr\xc3\xa9parer les documents standards, dont les devis techniques, conform\xc3\xa9ment aux codes de conception en vigueur;
• Contribuer au mentorat et \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99encadrement des ing\xc3\xa9nieurs seniors, interm\xc3\xa9diaires et juniors;
• Superviser, coordonner et revoir le travail des ing\xc3\xa9nieurs en tunnels;
• Assurer la liaison avec les autres les disciplines, les professionnels, les clients et les tierces parties, au besoin;
• Effectuer toutes autres t\xc3\xa2ches connexes, au besoin.

Qualifications

• Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at en g\xc3\xa9nie civil ou en g\xc3\xa9nie des structures. Ma\xc3\xaetrise en g\xc3\xa9nie des tunnels, des mines ou g\xc3\xa9otechnique, hautement souhaitable;

• Titre d\xe2\x80\x99ing\xc3\xa9nieur professionnel ou en voie de l\xe2\x80\x99obtenir; titre de professionnel de la gestion de projet (PMP), un atout;
• Au moins 12 ans d\xe2\x80\x99exp\xc3\xa9rience en conception, construction et gestion de projet visant des structures souterraines et des tunnels;
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience en conception de projets d\xe2\x80\x99excavation de tunnels et de puits d\xe2\x80\x99acc\xc3\xa8s, et en conception de syst\xc3\xa8mes de sout\xc3\xa8nement dans des sols et du roc visant des projets de transport et de services publics (eau, eaux us\xc3\xa9es);
• Connaissance approfondie de la m\xc3\xa9canique des sols et des roches; connaissance des m\xc3\xa9thodes num\xc3\xa9riques s\xe2\x80\x99appliquant aux excavations et aux tunnels;
• Connaissance av\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9e des technologies sans tranch\xc3\xa9e et des m\xc3\xa9thodes d\xe2\x80\x99excavation de tunnels;
• Excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication \xc3\xa9crite et verbale;
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 travailler de mani\xc3\xa8re autonome avec un minimum de supervision;
• Esprit d\xe2\x80\x99analyse; capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 r\xc3\xa9soudre des probl\xc3\xa8mes et \xc3\xa0 prendre des d\xc3\xa9cisions \xc3\xa9clair\xc3\xa9es;
• Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles et forte capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 communiquer, essentielles pour le travail d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe dans un environnement complexe en rapide et constante \xc3\xa9volution;

As a key member of the infrastructure group in Canada, the Tunneling Associate will lead a team of bright individuals working on the delivery of a broad range of services including bored and mined tunnels, caverns and underground spaces, shafts and deep excavations in both soils and rock to name a few. The team is currently working on many projects in Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver as well as supporting many projects throughout the Americas region.

Responsibilities:

• Project management, client engagement and technical leadership of various projects;
• Plan, organize, and lead project teams in the delivery, design, and documentation of tunnels project requirements for large transit, highways, water and wastewater;
• Assist in the development and presentation of bid proposals to pursue contracts for underground projects including large diameter tunnels, micro-tunnels, and trenchless applications, and tunnel structural rehabilitation projects;
• Lead project teams in the development of geo-investigations, evaluation of geotechnical data, GBRs and GIRs, geo-structural analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of calculations and drawings and construction bid documents, preparation of feasibility studies for tunneling related projects including cost and schedule estimates;
• Prepare standard documents, such as technical specifications, in accordance with applicable design codes;
• Assist in the mentoring and management of senior, intermediate and junior engineers;
• Supervise, coordinate and review the work of other tunnel engineers;
• Liaison with other disciplines, professionals, clients and third parties as needed;
• Preform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Tunnelling, Mining or Geotechnical Engineering is highly desirable.

• Professional engineering designation or credentials for registration as a professional engineer is required; PMP is an asset;
• 12+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the design, construction and project management of underground and tunnel lining structures;
• Experience in the design of tunnel and shaft excavation and support systems in rock and soil environment for transportation and water & wastewater projects;
• Advanced knowledge in soil and rock mechanics, and hands on ground/structural numerical methods and their application for ground or tunnel;
• Broad understanding of trenchless technologies and tunnelling methods;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments;
• Active member of the tunnel design and construction professional community with experience managing complex underground projects for water, wastewater, transportation and other types of projects.
