Job purpose



As the Chef de Partie you will be responsible for providing structure and guidance to the daily kitchen operation. You shall possess a higher-than-average knowledge of the food and beverage industry and a strong passion to continue to learn new trends and ideas. You shall be confident in your abilities and be able to teach and mentor staff members.

Duties and responsibilities



Overall management of BOH operations in the absence of the Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef Assist in implementing and monitoring kitchen procedures Conducts daily shift meetings to keep all food and beverage staff informed Ensure food is rotated properly and refreshed to maintain quality and avoid waste Monitor par stock levels Foster a positive work environment Update ordering of products as needed Keeps Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef informed on the daily operation of the food and beverage operation Continued organization and management of store rooms Any other tasks as assigned by your direct manager

Qualifications



Safe food handling certificate Five years cooking experience Red Seal certified

Working conditions



This position requires you to be available anytime the restaurant is open. This includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and special occasions. This position may require long hours, working on holidays and weekends.

Physical requirements



- Able to stand for long periods

- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

- Ability to lift 50lb

- Repetitious work

Pay: $17.20-$23.00 per hour
