Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and work stations Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food service, and meal preparation

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience with cooking methods, meal preparation, and food presentation Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience including familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Food industry experience demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a passion for culinary excellence

Pay: $22.00-$26.99 per hour
