As a PARC Chef de Partie, you\xe2\x80\x99re a key member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for:

• Creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.
• Helping prepare meals according to our established menus \xe2\x80\x93 with close attention to artistic plating, proper portions and safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintaining a clean kitchen and workspace.
• Receiving deliveries and safely storing, labelling, and rotating food to prevent spoilage.
• Providing creative input on regular and special-event menus.
• Supporting the Executive Chef by stepping in to lead the culinary team as needed and conducting kitchen audits.
• Assisting kitchen cleaning, including equipment, countertops, and the beverage centre.
• Monitoring resident satisfaction by talking with residents in the dining room.

• You have a culinary diploma or equivalent, plus at least three years of experience in a similar position. Red Seal training and certification are strong asset.
• You have your Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications. CPR and First Aid certification would be a bonus.
• You have a flair for creative food preparation, and experience with portion control, menus and the use of commercial kitchen equipment.
• You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and the professionals engaged in their care.
