We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess a strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals while maintaining the efficiency of kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Manage kitchen staff to ensure timely and great quality food production and service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in menu planning and inventory management to ensure availability of ingredients.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor food quality and presentation to meet fine dining standards.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
Prepare food for catering events and banquets as required, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Manage shift operations effectively, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Experience in fine dining settings is preferred; banquet experience is preferred.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Familiarity with inventory control practices and food service management principles.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality.
Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special dietary needs is an advantage.
