wok cookery, seafood preparation, and Dim Sum production
. This role requires precision, creativity, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute high-quality Asian dishes with consistency, artistry, and attention to detail.
Manage your assigned section (wok, Dim Sum, hot line, or seafood) during prep and service.
Maintain the highest standards of food presentation, taste, and temperature control.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in developing and refining menu items.
Ensure compliance with fine dining standards of hygiene, safety, and kitchen organization.
Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain a culture of excellence and respect.
Qualifications:
Culinary diploma or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum
3 years of experience
in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
Expertise in
Asian cooking techniques
;
Dim Sum knowledge highly preferred.
Proven skills in
wok handling, dumpling preparation, and seafood execution.
Strong understanding of balance, flavor profiling, and modern Asian presentation.
Professional demeanor, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure.
