Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking to ensure quality standards are met. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order as necessary. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to enhance overall dining experience. Train new kitchen staff on techniques, safety protocols, and company policies. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in menu planning and food preparation for large groups. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
