We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join The Northern Way. Working on the shores of Esnagi Lake, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in restaurants or other food service facilities. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests and staff. As this is a remote position, room and board are provided free of charge. This is initially a short term opportunity, until mid-October, with the opportunity to return for the following seasons.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed.
Foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
