Responsabilites principales des chauffeurs pour transferts :
Remplir documents de reception et de prise en charge.
Transporter l'equipement U-Haul entre les Centres et l'Atelier de reparations.
Effectuer des inspections visuelles d'equipement.
Entretenir une fiche journaliere du conducteur.
Qualifications minimales des chauffeurs pour transferts :
Un permis de conduire valide.
Respecter tous les reglements locaux, provinciaux et federaux sur les vehicules en conduisant.
Une experience en remorquage de vehicules est un atout.
Les conducteurs U-Haul qui conduisent des vehicules de service et/ou des camions de location avec un poids nominal brut du vehicule de 4 500 kg ou plus - ou une combinaison de vehicules (camion et remorque) qui a un poids nominal brut combine de 4 500 kg ou plus - sont tenus d'avoir un dossier de qualification du conducteur. Un certificat medical d'un medecin examinateur doit etre obtenu afin de devenir un conducteur ou une conductrice de vehicule automobile commercial U-Haul.
Milieu de travail :
Ce travail implique des risques moderes ou des risques de malaises qui necessitent des mesures de securite speciales, p. ex. travailler en presence de pieces en mouvement, de machines, d'emanations ou de produits chimiques irritants. On pourra donc exiger le port de vetements ou d'equipement de protection individuelle comme des masques, des lunettes, des gants ou des ecrans faciaux.
Exigences physiques :
Ce travail requiert des actions comportant de l'effort physique comme rester sur place autant a l'interieur qu'a l'exterieur pendant de longues periodes de temps, parcourir des espaces ainsi que se repositionner pour atteindre et utiliser des outils. Il faut aussi pouvoir deplacer un minimum de 23 kg (50 lb) avec ou sans aide.

Transfer Driver Primary Responsibilities:
Fill in receipt and intake paperwork
Transport U-Haul equipment between centers and repair shop
Perform visual inspections of equipment
Maintain a driver log
Transfer Driver Minimum Qualifications:
Commercial Driver's License
DOT Certification--can be sponsored by U-Haul
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
