Job Summary


Le titulaire de ce poste fournit un service de livraison ponctuel des produits aux clients. Il represente thyssenkrupp Materiaux NA de facon positive en offrant aux clients un service de livraison rapide, precis, utile, courtois et professionnel. Il veille egalement a ce que le camion soit en bon etat. Enfin, il accomplit diverses taches, selon les besoins.



Provide timely delivery of product to our customers. Represent thyssenkrupp Materials, NA in a positive manner by providing customers with quick, precise, helpful, courteous and professional delivery service. Ensure truck is in proper working order. Perform various duties as required.

s'assurer que les bons articles sont charges dans le camion en vue de la livraison; effectuer des inspections periodiques avant, pendant et apres la livraison pour s'assurer que le chargement est bien attache et securitaire; aider a charger et a decharger les camions tout en s'assurant que le camion est securitaire et qu'il n'est pas surcharge; s'assurer que les materiaux sont convenablement proteges des intemperies; remettre les produits et documents aux clients en temps opportun et de maniere courtoise; veiller a ce que tout degat cause par le chargement ou le dechargement du camion soit nettoye; veiller a l'entretien du camion et effectuer les inspections requises; remplir toute la documentation requise a la fin du quart de travail. Il peut notamment s'agir de registres quotidiens, de registres d'inspection, de recus de livraison, de rapports d'inspection du vehicule, du registre des heures de travail, etc.; utiliser des ponts roulants et des chariots elevateurs; recueillir le paiement dans les cas de livraison contre remboursement; donner une retroaction aux superviseurs quant aux problemes des clients, aux problemes mecaniques ou aux difficultes relatives a la livraison en ramenant les documents de preuve de livraison (feuille de chargement); participer a des activites relatives a la gestion allegee ou a la qualite; former d'autres employes, au besoin; posseder les qualites et competences exigees des employes de TKMNA;

Qualifications :




Exigences minimales :

diplome d'etudes secondaires ou formation generale; permis de conduire de classe appropriee (c.-a-d. permis de conduire commercial de classe A ou B ou de classe 1 au Canada); capacite de soulever regulierement des charges pouvant atteindre 40 lb.

Atouts :

trois a cinq ans d'experience de conduite.

Key Accountabilities:



Verify that correct items are loaded on the truck for delivery. Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure. Assist in loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure truck is properly secured and not overweight. Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements. Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner. Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up. Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections. Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts. Collect any COD money owed and ensure that money is given to the proper personnel upon return to the plant. Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems on returned proof of delivery sheets (load sheet) Assist in activities related to lean and/or quality. Qualifications:





Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Applicable motor vehicle licensing (i.e. CDL class A and/or B or class 1) Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continuous basis
