Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions using leading accounting software. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization through precise bookkeeping, auditing, and financial analysis. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and others. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Maintain detailed bookkeeping records and support auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or variances and recommend corrective actions. Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Support budgeting activities by preparing financial reports and forecasts. Utilize accounting tools for month-end closing procedures and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements related to financial services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounting roles with familiarity in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing procedures. Experience in corporate finance functions including budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting. Proficiency in using accounting software for payroll processing and financial management tasks. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings effectively. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.
