Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to maintain a positive environment for all riders.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the bus. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes or delays. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle safety. Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and incidents that may occur during transit.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation. Class 2E or better. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proven customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards passengers. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory.
