Son r\xc3\xb4le principal consiste \xc3\xa0 assurer la planification et le contr\xc3\xb4le des activit\xc3\xa9s visant la r\xc3\xa9alisation des projets de r\xc3\xa9am\xc3\xa9nagement, de mise \xc3\xa0 niveau et d\xe2\x80\x99agrandissement des b\xc3\xa2timents de la commission scolaire. • Participe \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9laboration des plans d\xe2\x80\x99investissement en collaboration avec l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe des ressources mat\xc3\xa9rielles;
• Participe \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99inspection des b\xc3\xa2timents afin d\xe2\x80\x99en d\xc3\xa9terminer l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9tat de v\xc3\xa9tust\xc3\xa9;
• Coordonne les projets confi\xc3\xa9s \xc3\xa0 des firmes professionnelles externes pour les diff\xc3\xa9rentes \xc3\xa9tapes d\xe2\x80\x99un projet, de la planification \xc3\xa0 la r\xc3\xa9alisation des travaux, et s\xe2\x80\x99assure du respect de la l\xc3\xa9gislation, des r\xc3\xa8glements et des standards de la CSR;
• Fournit aux professionnels externes toutes les informations requises pour la r\xc3\xa9alisation d\xe2\x80\x99un projet;
• Conseille, par le biais d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9tudes, de recherches, d\xe2\x80\x99expertises ou autres renseignements, les intervenants de la CSR sur des probl\xc3\xa9matiques sp\xc3\xa9cifiques;
• Suit la progression des travaux conform\xc3\xa9ment aux contrats et aux normes en mati\xc3\xa8re de sant\xc3\xa9 et s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9;
• Assure la responsabilit\xc3\xa9 du suivi budg\xc3\xa9taire des projets \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99aide des outils de gestion de la commission scolaire, coordonne le traitement des documents et participe aux r\xc3\xa9unions de conception et de chantiers;
• \xc3\x89labore, planifie et coordonne la mise en oeuvre de projets ou de programmes particuliers ;
• Assurer la qualit\xc3\xa9 de r\xc3\xa9alisation des mandats des professionnels ainsi que des entrepreneurs ;

NATURE OF WORK: The position of project manager \xe2\x80\x93 architect or engineer encompasses, in particular, duties in conformity with the Architects Act (L.R.Q., c. A-21) and the Engineers Act (L.R.Q., c. I-9). The project manager is responsible for the planning, analysis, evaluation, design, solutions, research and supervision of construction work for the school board\xe2\x80\x99s buildings, grounds and other facilities. The project manager participates in the design and the construction phases of projects. The main role of the employee is to ensure the planning and supervision of the activities toward the completion of refit and improvement projects and the upkeep of the school board\xe2\x80\x99s buildings. DUTIES:

• Participates in the development of investment plans in collaboration with the material resources team;
• Participates in the inspection of buildings to determine their state of disrepair;
• Coordinates the projects assigned to external professional firms at various stages of the project, from the planning phase to the completion of the work, and ensures compliance with the prevailing laws and by-laws, rules and regulations and RSB standards;
• Provides the external professionals with the necessary information to complete the project;
• Advises the RSB stakeholders on specific issues through studies, research, expertise and other data collected;
• Monitors the progression of the work in conformity with contracts and with the health and safety standards;
• Responsible for the budget monitoring of the projects using the School Board software and coordinates the processing of documents and participate to site meetings;
• Develops, plans and coordinates the implementation of projects or specific programs.
• Ensures the quality of the professionals\xe2\x80\x99 mandates and of the contractors work.
• If need be, he or she performs any other related duty.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, member of the Ordre des ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec (seeking specialists in the fields of industrial engineering, civil engineering, construction engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering) OR an architectural bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, member of the Ordre des architectes du Qu\xc3\xa9bec, and have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Good experience in project management and construction follow-up; Experience in evaluating the status of architectural or electromechanical components of a building; Able to work well within a multidisciplinary team; Good knowledge of the National Building Code is considered an asset; Knowledge of office automation (Office \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel, OneNote, etc.); Good knowledge of French, both oral and written; Knowledge of English is considered an asset; Oriented towards customer service and creating a quality environment for students; Hold a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and have access to a vehicle; Additional training in project management (certificate or masters) is considered an asset. SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 60-minute meal break.
