Le Specialiste de Comptes, Neurosciences, joue un role essentiel dans la mission d'Ipsen visant a ameliorer la prise en charge des patients en etablissant des partenariats de confiance avec les professionnels de sante et en developpant l'adoption des produits sur le territoire qui lui est attribue. Le Specialiste de Comptes fournira des produits, des services et des informations permettant aux medecins, pharmaciens et autres professionnels de sante de prescrire et d'utiliser les traitements Ipsen de maniere sure et efficace.
Ce poste requiert de solides competences en vente, persuasion et influence, ainsi qu'une experience averee en gestion de comptes cles et en collaboration interfonctionnelle. Le candidat ideal saura gerer efficacement son territoire et ses responsabilites administratives tout en respectant les lois, reglementations et politiques internes d'Ipsen.

Principales responsabilites / attentes professionnelles
Les responsabilites generales attribuees au Specialiste de Comptes sont les suivantes :
Gestion des ventes et du territoire :
Atteindre les objectifs de ventes pour le territoire assigne* Elaborer et executer des plans solides pour les comptes cles ainsi qu'un plan d'affaires annuel pour le territoire* Mettre en oeuvre le Plan d'action defini par l'equipe Marketing, tout en optimisant les dynamiques et opportunites propres au territoire*
Relations avec les professionnels de la sante :
Construire et entretenir des relations professionnelles solides avec les medecins et orientees vers la qualite des soins* Communiquer des informations equilibrees, exactes et completes sur les produits d'Ipsen et leur utilisation appropriee dans le cadre des indications approuvees* Utiliser les donnees scientifiques et cliniques approuvees pour mener des discussions approfondies avec les medecins et autres professionnels de la sante* Maintenir une cadence reguliere d'interactions avec tous les professionnels de sante figurant sur la liste cible (medecins, pharmaciens, infirmieres et autres professionnels de la sante) par le biais de visites en personne et virtuelles, de programmes educatifs et OLA, de reunions d'affaires et d'echanges entre pairs*
Administration :
Suivre toutes les formations requises et maintenir a jour ses connaissances sur les produits* Gerer le territoire dans le respect du budget assigne* Effectuer les taches administratives, incluant la saisie quotidienne des appels, le suivi des echantillons, la gestion du budget et la production des rapports de depenses, dans les delais et conformement aux directives de l'entreprise* Demontrer d'excellentes competences en communication ecrite et orale ainsi qu'une capacite a rediger des rapports et correspondances courantes*
Respecter toutes les lois, reglementations et lignes directrices provinciales et federales, y compris le Code d'ethique de Medicaments Innovateurs Canada concernant les interactions avec les professionnels de la sante, ainsi que toutes les normes et politiques d'Ipsen relatives aux activites du poste.

Summary
The Account Specialist, Neuroscience, plays a critical role in advancing Ipsen's mission to improve patient care by building trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and developing product adoption in the assigned territory. The Account Specialist will deliver products, services, and information that enable physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to prescribe and use Ipsen's therapies safely and effectively.
This position requires strong selling, persuasion, and influence skills, combined with proven experience in key account management and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will manage their territory and administrative responsibilities efficiently while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Ipsen's internal policies.

Main Responsibilities / Job Expectations
The general job responsibilities assigned to the Account Specialist are as follows:
Sales & Territory Management:
Achieve the sales objective for the assigned territory
Develop and execute robust key account plans and annual territory business plans
Execute the Plan of Action defined by the Marketing team, while optimizing territory level dynamics and opportunities
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians focused on quality of care
Communicate balanced, accurate and complete information on Ipsen's products and their appropriate use within approved indications
Leverage approved scientific and clinical data to engage in in-depth conversations with physicians and other HCPs
Establish a regular cadence of interactions with all HCPs on target list (physicians, pharmacists, nurses and allied health professionals) through in person and virtual sales calls, educational and OLA programs, business meetings, peer-to-peer exchanges
Administration:
Complete all required training courses and maintain up to date product knowledge
Operate the territory within the assigned budget
Complete administrative requirements including daily call reporting, sample tracking, budget management and expense reporting within timelines and company guidelines
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to write correspondence and reports
Comply with all provincial and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) Code of Ethical Practices on interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as with all Ipsen's standards and policies relating to all job activities.
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience
Education / Certifications:
Undergraduate-level post-secondary degree required (B.Sc, B.A., B. Comm)
Academic background in science / health sciences is a strong asset
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Representative
Experience in neuroscience area is a strong asset
Experience with the hospital formulary listing process in Quebec is a strong asset
Demonstrated success selling in competitive environments
Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and executing tactical plans
Demonstrated ability and interest in effective teamwork
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Computer proficiency is required
Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required (no more than three moving violation convictions within the past three years)
Travel:
Ability to travel within assigned territory, including overnight as needed
10-15% travel outside territory (conferences, internal meetings)
Languages:
* Bilingualism (French & English) required
