Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Costume Character Performer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring to life various characters through engaging performances and interactions with guests. First contract would be from July 30 - August 7, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Portray assigned characters with enthusiasm and authenticity
- Perform in full body costumes bringing the magic of each character to life
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform scripted shows and improvisational interactions
- Collaborate with other performers to create memorable experiences
- Maintain character integrity and adhere to performance guidelines
Requirements
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Height ranges from 5'0 - 5'4 ; Small to Medium build (costume requirements)
- Previous experience in acting, theater, dance or entertainment preferred
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Background Check Required
- Any experience working with young children (ie. camp counsellors, sports coaches, early childhood development students, etc.) is a plus!
- Any mascot experience is a plus!
Locations
In Saskatchewan, generally events are located in the Saskatoon area and parts of Regina, however we have events all throughout SK and Canada. Travel , accommodations and per diem provided for out of market events.
Training
Training to be provided to bring the best out of each of our performers!
