Job Description
MADD Lethbridge Chapter has an opening for a temporary summer employment position.
What You Will Do:
Research local community event opportunities
Attend, organize, set up and participate in some community events
Recruit and schedule volunteers to attend community events
Recruit new volunteers
Create posts for social media
Assist board members as needed
What You Bring to the Team:
Volunteer experience (not required)
Comfortable with social media
Organized with good communication skills
Comfortable with meeting new people and engaging with MADD members
Ability to work alone
Access to a vehicle
Must meet the participant requirements under the Canada Summer Jobs Agreement with Employment and Social Development Canada as outlined
:Is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
Is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations
This temporary position is 30 hours per week for 8weeks, starting in June 2025.
You will be required to undergo police screening (criminal background check) as a requirement for this position.
