Venbridge is looking for an analytical Channel Director, like YOU, to join our growing team!

As Channel Director, you will work closely with our channel partner accounts to build and maintain strong relationships. You will collaborate with partners on assigned accounts with the goal of growing our business and expanding our reach. You are passionate about analyzing customer outcomes and understanding what our partners need in order to secure referrals.

You are highly motivated by goal-setting and are always looking for ways to optimize sales strategies to set our partners up for success. You are known as a strong team player who exceeds KPIs (i.e., number of referrals, number of new accounts, total capital deployed, etc.). When confronted with a challenge, your solution-oriented mindset enables you to critically assess contributing factors to drive creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with our channel partners by fostering strong working relationships.
  • Support the daily sales activities from our partner accounts.
  • Strategically develop and sign new accounts.
  • Chair regularly scheduled meetings with assigned accounts.
  • Build, develop, and execute account plans.
  • Work with our partners to help identify existing sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Provide training and coaching to channel partners to support their effectiveness.
  • Bring a data-driven mindset that enables you to stay on top of behind-the-scenes information (i.e., numbers and accounts).
  • Listen to and assesses market trends to understand barriers & opportunities.
  • Perform business reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Track all relevant client and partner information in Sales Force.
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years of account management experience.
  • Proven success in consultative business-to-business sales.
  • Able to communicate seamlessly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-starter with experience working in a high growth, metric-based, competitive environment.
  • Strong aptitude to follow-through on client relationships and communications.
  • Brings a competitive, results-oriented spirit coupled with a data-driven mindset.
  • Highly persuasive with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed organization and time management skills.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Able to occasionally travel within Canada.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Sales experience in financial services is an asset.
  • Experience in channel sales is an asset.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
